Located on a small footprint of 0.2 acres land with Gross Floor Area of 9,000sqft within clusters of matured residential developments on the city fringe of Kuala Lumpur. The kindergarten is an oval-shaped volume with classrooms and functional spaces wrapping around a centralised Multipurpose Hall and Canteen.
Designed to encourage interaction during multiple activities with the flexibility to partition with soft material when necessary. Classrooms are orientated to face the garden on one side and another facing the centralised Multipurpose Hall and Canteen for dual aspects awareness of activities and connection to nature. Large balconies and overhangs serve as shading devices from floor above in the tropical climate.
The large balconies also encourage free connections between class rooms externally. Large semi-outdoor shaded area serve as alternative play area for the energetic children within the boundary.
